Bing AI Chatbot now comes to your phone keyboard via Swiftkey: what it offers
Microsoft continues to roll out a new version of Bing AI to several of its products, and now smartphone users can take advantage of the AI with the Swiftkey keyboard app. The app works on Android and iOS devices, and Bing AI is integrated into the Swiftkey app to give you features like chat, search, and beep. The app was available as a beta version, but now Microsoft has released a public version for everyone.
You can tap the Bing icon in the lower left corner and ask the AI chatbot questions through the chat feature, you can search for answers and change the tone of the AI to get customized answers.
Bing has offered its AI features through the Edge browser app, and now Swiftkey is another popular app to get this integration. You can install SwiftKey version 3.0.1 with the new update available for iPhone users from the App Store.
In addition to this, certain users can also download Bing from the Microsoft Start application. It will be interesting to see Microsoft quickly offer the AI capabilities provided by ChatGPT to other consumer products. The company has invested $10 billion in OpenAI for its AI chatbot, and so far the business deal seems to be giving them strong returns.
With Android and iOS, you have over a billion smartphone users, and some of them would have SwiftKey as a third-party keyboard. Some of the Bing AI features work without signing in, but if you want to use the Tone and Chat options, Microsoft requires you to sign in with your account.
The search feature shows how Bing AI uses a link to the Internet to provide answers, and you don’t need to leave the messaging app to get a response. Using voice, Bing AI ensures that all commands/queries are delivered in the right context, be it professional, polite or casual.
